So Sanders not getting drafted through 3 rounds is clearly collision right?

I guess never mind many 5th rounders amount to less than practice squad?
I see your point but a delusional walking megaphone comes with him and if he looks half-decent in the preseason that delusional walking megaphone is going to be blasting how great he is and how much the other qb's on the roster suck. Just not worth the bullshit in my opinion.

The one thing that worries me for his career is who drafted him. My team seems to be a jinx for QB's they've drafted. It would be nice if Sanders stops that streak.

And his dad. He just needs to STFU and focus on his team. Let Shedeur do his thing.

Saw an article this morning. Shilo "fired" Deion and gotta agent before signing with the Bucs.
THIS regime had only drafted 1 QB. DTR in round 5.

It's not about the round, it is all of the drama around it. We can debate on the amount of upside he may or may not offer over Gabriel, but the one guarantee is that slight potential is not worth the headache. His dad is already talking about how he takes a backseat to no QB, neither Gabriel or Sanders are the long-term solution. Browns grabbed one that was good enough to prep for a draft that has a better QB class.

Browns had played it smart, you can't make an elite QB appear, and this draft had 0 available to them. They stockpiled picks to prep for a better draft and put in a stopgap. That is the correct call, adding a malcontent that thinks he is too good to be a backup helps nothing and derails locker room chemistry.
Unless the backup has been humbled and can grow up? so far based on his actual words he might have. We'll see.what his father says wont really matter.

By forcing them to duplicate a position with a player that the gm and coaching staff didn't want? I don't know, but he did. Not sure why it would be shocking for him to sabotage a second time.
You should have stopped after you said "I don't know". You don't.

I mean, nothing he has said in the many interviews he has done since being picked implies he isn't ready to go to work and will be an issue. Any comments like you are claiming and he's be gone. Might his dad say these things? Guess is no but maybe. Will sanders? I doubt it and the team cares about the player, not his dad.

I try to feel sorry for them, but then they keep doing things like this
did you and others really believe that report?

If so, yeah....ya gotta love this forum.
But that's what I'm talking about when I said earlier if making up stories be more creative.

not to mention going up against weak defenses. I still say, what would his numbers be if he was in the B1G or sec..............
I mean, there were some other good WRs in that conference and don't think their QBs had production like him. :noidea:

There are SO SO many folks doing mocks now, analysis. All the fantasy guys do it. They SUCK. Most mocks, suck. Theres a few guys I follow that really seem to hit the mark year after year on draft analysis. But otherwise, its all noise.

I heard an interview on mcafee yesterday with a guy from the Panthers. He was quoting someone as saying, "If he falls past round 2 pick 6....the league views him as a backup. Thats just the reality. Then you factor in his attitude and circus, for a backup. Most teams wont want that baggage. I get that. Also stating that backups alot of times arent always the most talented, but the guys with infectious personalities and great team mates, good minds. Guys that help the starter, support the team etc. Its like for years steelers had charlie batch. THeres a reason for that.
The league, and teams, put up with a LOT of primadona/bullshit when you are an elite talent. The list of guys like Chad "OCHOCINCO" Johnson, Antonio Bryant, Aaron Rodgers - etc...is long. And all of them found out the same thing - when you hit the end of your career, and that elite ability falls off - teams don't want you.

In Sanders' case, he's young and if he were elite, someone would have taken him by round 2. If they are not willing to put up with your bullshit - you are not viewed as elite. Simple as that.

Are you going to reply to every post in a conversation that ended a while ago? I mean have at it, but this entire discussion ended awhile ago and you are not adding anything to it. Perhaps if you want to keep chasing this feeling you can download some old podcasts and talk back to your speakers for a similar effect?

I mean, I have been away a bit so caught up on some stuff. I get you not wanting to address the issue and moving the goal posts.....hopefully it means you realized how foolish the assumption was but I doubt it.

Nope, just not loving getting alerts from a conversation that already happened. You are not contributing or changing anything. I have moved the thread off of watched so it will leave me alone. Enjoy talking to yourself. After this you can rent some movies and pretend that you talking to them changes the plot.

I mean, some others have replied so you do you.....if it were me, though, and I had no interest in the discussion I'd have simply not bothered to look and certainly not replied.

But again you do you. would urge you next time to be more creative when promoting a made up narrative.

Yeah, and I already owned up that I got fooled.

Unfortunately for you Browns fans, it didn't seem far-fetched enough at first glance.
as I said...enough real issues about the Browns that no need to make things up for which to be critical. But as I said if making up I can appreciate that one as at least was creative.

Larger number:
1. Minutes Sheduer Sanders spent today trying to become the best QB he can be
2. Posts today from @dtgold88 defending everything the Browns have ever done.
Me - Browns have been a complete disaster overall since return in 1999.....and mostly bad since early 1970s, Tommy.

If it's worthy of ridicule I'll ridicule. and there is plenty. why no need to make things up for which to be critical.

so I occasionally tune in to Urban View on Sirius to get laughs over the usual political bullshit they spew, but this morning they surprised when I turned it on talking about shedeur sanders, the draft, and the kid with the funny prank call.

#1- they said that SS, hanging in the draft, and not getting picked until the 5th round was equivalent to a "lynching".
#2 - they said the kid that did the prank call on SS was equivalent to throwing rocks at his dead hanging body.

yeah, I changed the station after that. We have crazy people in this country that should be locked up.

It is amazing hoe fucking stupid people are.

That would, depend on which Big Ten team he was playing with. He would be fine with Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, currently Indiana. That would also depend on whether or not any of those coaches would put up with his blaming others. At those schools he would have good protection and good receivers.

I wonder why the NFL chose not to "lynch" Cam Ward or Travis Hunter. Maybe the GMs were unaware that those guys were Black.
