So Sanders not getting drafted through 3 rounds is clearly collision right?

Except those people are claiming racism. Shocking isn't it? Just Shocking they would claim that.
Both Super Bowl QB's were black. The first pick of this draft was a black QB. If these 32 clubs thought Sanders was going to be Patrick Mahomes 2.0 and another club said, hey, we are going to teach this kid a lesson and not draft him, the other 32 would say Fuck You

Any other position and he could get away with the Neon Jr act, but not QB... not unless we're talking generational talent. Even then attitude and maturity matter in a QB. His father should have known better than to play this the way they have.

It's the attitude and family drama and media crap that will come from it. He'll be a locker room cancer almost 100%.

I wasn't thrilled with the Milroe pick (and I said I'd give it an auto F grade, so here we are) but I at LEAST get it from the FOs perspective because Milroe has high character and work ethic. If you tell him, "Hey, you're a Taysom Hill 2.0 at this point, and work hard and MAYBE you can start in 3 years" it'll be met with, "Yes sir! Let's get to work! I'm happy to contribute where I can right now!"

With Sanders, if he doesn't start from day 1 (or mid season) it'll be like, "But I am Deion's kid... and I want to pllaaaaaaay!!! And if I don't get my ice cream, I'm going to mope around on the sidelines and *pout* and call my daddy!" And then you got his Dad: "But I am Deion Sanders, and this is my kiiiiiid! Give him his ice cream and let him start!" And then don't get me started on the media. Jesus they already can't control themselves during the draft. All ESPN is talking about is Sanders. What happens when you tell the kid "Yah you're riding the pine this year" in 2026?

I imagine if a team did draft him the trade request consideration and just overall annoyance level from the 53 man roster would reach peak levels of high. It'd be like, "Oh God, here we go..."

Horrible comparison.

Sanders was the most accurate thrower in the draft at 74%. Tebow and Kaep? Not nearly as accurate. Both had serious issues with their completion %.

It may not be a perfect comparison, but there is some legitimacy to it.

Tebow and Kaepernick were different types of QBs, but were definitely talented enough to be on an NFL roster somewhere. Both had won playoff games in the league.

That relates to Sanders in that if teams do not see him as a clear QB1 (at least not right away) they may feel there's too much risk for a first or second day or pick due to the potential drama he and his dad could bring.

He'll get drafted at some point today, as eventually the risks assumed in terms of draft capital will get too low relative to his abilities as player.

Having to suddenly cut a 5th or 6th round pick for whatever reason isn't going to set a franchise back at all, unless Shedeur truly is the most toxic human that has ever lived and destroys team chemistry the moment he arrives.

Moderate collegiate success vs mediocre competition is rewarded accordingly.

I posted a similar one of Cooper DeJean from last year. Somone I'm sure posted this already, but you are just a scum bag if you do this. People are just such AHoles and many just deserve an ass beating

I could at least see a slight argument that he didn't go round 1 but noting getting picked tonight is entirely inexplicable for any reason other than colliusion imo

Is this the league trying to teach Deion a lesson? Or what's going on?

I don't think this is explainable in any way other than teams have just banded together to decide they're not going to draft him for some reason.

You could argue Ward and Dart staff of him ( although Dart requires some mental acrobatics to get there ) but multiple other guys getting picked today at QB is just insanity
What in the world is with your av?

exactly. It was all of the stuff that happened outside of the lines that led to this drop. I'll say it again. You reap what you sow:

Issue #1 is who the hell wants to run their team with Deion's mouth in the background every second?

* edit * I wonder if Alberta and Saskatoon are on the list.

Or he’s just not that good. There has been countless QB’s who had 10 times the college career of Sanders that were late round picks.

If his name were anything but Sanders, no “analyst” would have had him any higher than the 6th round pick
