Quick question.......does this say more about the long sorrid history of the position here or the greatness of Kirk?

While I wouldn't disagree with what Sportster said. I think it also says that in the very long history of the Washington Redskins. We haven't had very many good QBs period. Hell, two of the QBs I'm sure we all hold in high regard, Doug Williams and Mark Rypien, had more a great playoff run and a great season as opposed to great careers. They both did bring Super Bowl trophies to the Skins and I'd take that over 10 great QB careers any day.

Far as KC goes. I'm not gonna say he's great, not yet at least. He's off to a pretty nice start though. And maybe you were right about Griffin. Maybe he should've sat and learned as opposed to playing right away. I don't that would've worked put either, but you never know.

Yep after all they gave up for Griffin and having been drafted 2nd overall he just wasn't going to get a chance to sit and learn. That's just the way todays NFL is. He has had a chance this past year to develop and learn. Griffin is still young enough. It depends on him and his future coach on whether he ever develops or not.

Did you guys know that Philadelphia's franchise has never had a 4,000 yard passer? McNabb holds the record with 3916 yards in 2008. To put things in perspective, Kirk has 3,990 yards with one game left to play.

Their franchise record for passing TDs is 32, which is held by . . . Sonny. Depending on what happens on Sunday, Kirk would've been a franchise setting QB for Philly.

For the moment we have placed a moratorium on using Kirk Cousins and the F word in the same post. People tend to get a little sensitive on that subject. :D

When he signs that big deal with us in a few weeks / months, that F word will be used pretty liberally. :)
