My other options at RB are Donald brown, Pierre Thomas, and carlos Hyde. Thoughts?
Yikes. All pretty bad options. Spiller could be a complete dud this week against a strong Lions front. If the Lions get ahead early, FJax is likely to dominate touches because of his role in the passing game.
I can't recommend Brown against the Jets D. Hyde is only good if you expect the 9ers to win big (not likely against KC). Pierre Thomas would be an upside flyer if you want an RB on an offense likely to put up a lot of points, but he is far from a lock to get the touches you need.
Still though, I think I would roll the dice with Thomas. Brees is going to bust out this week, and NO could get 40.
Spiller has been good this year though. 15th rated RB right now
Spiller has a better shot at getting around the Detriot line than Freddy does through it, so hopefully they realize that in the play calling. Still not the greatest match up though. But your other options aren't much better
You are right, but they have not realized this in a year and a half, so why now?
