I don't like GB in January.....Candlestick (with or without lights) is preferred. Long shot, but you never know.

If it comes down to a GB-SFO match, this could be a very similar storyline for how the Championship game plays out. My only hope is we have a little more offensive punch through the air than Chicago.

1st & goal Chicago.

They say Josh McCoun was coaching high school football 5 weeks ago.

Yep...they have pictures to prove it. Didn't Harbs bring him in for a workout as well?

That's a textbook example of why you have to score TD's against GB (and the Saints for that matter) when you get the chance. The Bears have a ton of yards but not the points to go along with it. The Bears will probably rush for close to 200 yards tonight.

So if I had to guess right now the Pack will play the Lions or the Cowboys / VaGinats in round 2 and the Niners would play the Taints. That'd be rough; New Orleans could win it all this year.

Rodgers has all the time in the world and his receivers are WIDE open.

Conversely, Smith's receivers are almost always covered and when they aren't they drop more balls than they should.

Someone on the boards calls Smith "Captain Checkdown," more likely he should be called "Captain don't force the ball."

One thing I will say.....if you ever get the chance, go to a game at Green Bay. Highly recommended. Good time, even for a visitor.

Packers just eclipsed 6,000 yards ALLOWED for the year. They've gained 5,900 and change.

Don't sell the 49ers short. The Saints gotta come in to SF after a tough playoff game the week prior having travelled 3,000 miles to get there and then face a well-rested 49er team playing at home that has had plenty of time to prepare.

If the Saints do win it all it will be well-deserved because it means they will have faced and beaten both the 49ers and Packers on the road. Of course this is all assuming the 49ers beat the Rams next week but I cannot imagine that they won't.

more like they will say 'smith needs to throw them open'. lol

rodgers is part of a machine. our offense is a work in progress, but sometimes i think it needs to go back to the drawing board

Ya, that one cracks me up. The coverage is so tight and the 49er receivers are so slow, that the defenders would still beat the receivers to the ball. They need some speed and a little more imagination on the routes from the coaching staff. The routes look very pedestrian. Isn't it fun to bitch about a 12 and 3 team?
