Funny to see the old NFC West in the playoffs. Imagine us dominating Falcons or Saints, and losing to the Packers in the championship. It will feel like we are back home in the 90's, and all those bad years where just a dream.

Rodgers has all the time in the world and his receivers are WIDE open.

Conversely, Smith's receivers are almost always covered and when they aren't they drop more balls than they should.

Someone on the boards calls Smith "Captain Checkdown," more likely he should be called "Captain don't force the ball."

GB is a spread offense (New England is similar), they send four receivers and at least two are running full speed. ie their patterns are more dynamic and they get RAC's. they can do this because Rodgers has timing and accuracy.

because of Alex's limitations (and some O-line), we run more "static" patterns. this doesn't help our receivers get open.

for now, i can live with Alex not forcing the ball. he just doesn't have it so asking him to do it...............is asking for INT's.

the real incentive for ATL is that if they win the next 2 and NO loses the next 2, ATL gets the #3 seed over NO.

besides, Falcon pride!
