It's possible then the two would be playing in Seattle it makes little difference to me, probably much more to you.

Well, to anybody with a stake in the game, they would certainly want a home game.
It is what it is, but given a choice, you choose HOME.

That is why I posted Levi Stadium but you can't get to the Super Bowl without winning the NFC so if the game is in Seattle so be it.

49ers did ok today but the real thing here was Jim Harbaugh was in mid season form. How you all (49er fans) are not tired of his crybaby antics is beyond me. He is the biggest whiner in the NFL lol.

A few of the calls in that game were questionable at best, his antics can get tiring at times but at least he is passionate.

I'm glad your team was finally able to put up some points in their 5th preseason game. Not all of them are against the Cowgirls.

That team is so damn bad at football

IDK, the way the Boys played the 9ers (defensively) without Romo's INTs and Murray's fumble, they could've won that game, maybe even easily. It's hard to win when you basically spot your opponents 21 (which doesn't include the point taken off the board for the red zone pick).

So I was listening to the radio on the way home from work and had the Lions/Giants game on. It's the Ian Eagle and Boomer crew. They were talking about next weeks games and Boomer said "Maybe the Packers will use the whole field next week on offense." Ian asked him about not throwing toward Sherman and he said "It was half of the field. He never threw to half of the field. You aren't going to win many games like that."

So to all of Sherman'a haters who dismiss him as the best because he doesn't shadow players, Boomer says

How did simply putting a scrub over there and not using that half of the field work out for GB?

I had the same argument with a 49er fan. He was saying Sherman isn't the best because he isn't always on the other teams #1 WR. Well he didn't shut down one player, he SHUT DOWN one half of the field.

Yes, and Carroll said it lets them cheat up the under coverage in their cover 3 and Earl can lean right giving him a few more steps. When you let the other team know 1 guy is enough to hold down nearly half of the field you have seriously tipped the balance to the defense.

GB's game plan was to put their best on our weakest and they didn't care that this limited them to less than 1/2 of their total routes, nor that the rest of the defense would be crowding that area more.

It didn't work.

The NFL players assoc has agreed to the terms of the new drug testing policy. Because of these terms, Wes Welkers suspension has been lifted. This means he will be available for the Seahawks game.

Reports are that he begged Goodell not to reinstate him till week 4 because he doesn't want to get his ass kicked again by Seattle.

Funny, but in truth the NFL has not agreed to the terms the PA voted on yet so there is no official ruling. I'm hoping the NFL is fighting to keep those already suspended to their sentences.

At the time they failed their tests a certain established set of rules was in place. Those who broke the rules at that time should have to pay the punishment that was in place.

Another part of me thinks Welker will play for about 10 minutes before Kam reminds him that his brain is made of room temperature Jello and he's again out for an extended period of time.

Welker used to love those 5 yd slant routes between the Dline/blitzing LBs and the DBs. Until the SB. Now his soul which has never recovered from the Metlife massacre, is still trying to find it's way it's way back to him.

He's currently in :hope: mode praying they delay his reinstatement till week 4.

Well, it's Wednesday and there's no word on reinstatement yet.

Has Welker been banned from team facilities too? Even if he is given a reprieve hopefully he'll be rusty and scared like Regent said.

I need to go on vacation more often. Home for week 1 the Niners win, gone for the next 2 weeks and they've lost two straight. I need to leave more often!

That was a rough bye week, its like they were invisible out there. Only the Raiders could figure out how to lose on its bye week.
