He had two young daughters he was very close to. There are pictures of both in the names with faces thread on this site. I can't imagine what they are going through right now. As hard as it is for us, his coworkers, and extended friends/family, his kids lost an incredible dad and that is tough to think about. That's truly sad. Prayers go out to his family in what must be a very difficult time. I always enjoyed his comments, but I'm sure he'll be missed more than just on SportsHoopla.
R.I.P.
Oh my gosh, the Pelicans upset the Spurs and the Thunder will miss the playoffs! How awesome is that?!
What's going on with the 49ers? Just heard the news that yet another young player is calling it quits. This time it's Anthony Davis, who's next? Seems like players would rather retire then continue playing for the 49ers. Yeah, I know health is the reason given, but do you see any other NFL team having the same problem? That's right you don't and we all know that players from every team have health issues, but they are not calling it quits like the 49ers players. Is this a revolt on the players part? Could be...... Can't say I blame them.

I have a avatar bet made early in the off season. I bet the 49ers would have a better record then the Browns, I'm getting really worried. What the heck was I thinking, when I made that wager?
With the right breaks, the Rams could be right there. I'm in awe of your DL.With the player turnover in San Fran, the NFC West is rapidly becoming a Seahawks and Cardinals battle for supremacy. My Rams are a couple of years away but right now, the teams with birds as their logos are going to fight it out.
We can enjoy their demise together. We shall see HaroldSeattle. It ought to be another fun year without the Niners.
