A little over reaction for their fans (too our enjoyment) but you can certainly understand their enthusiasm. They walk on egg shells over there as a brittle broken down 36 going on 55 year old QB is about to start the season for em. To put it all into perspective for the young "he looks better than Brady" QB in the Dallas camp, I saw most of his passes were 5 to 10 yards down field to "wide" open receivers. He did hit on some nice throws into tight coverages. Pre-season nerves and regular season nerves I would imagine are quite different... but it's an encouraging sign for Cowboy fan.

They haven't been this excited over a QB since Quincy Carter. Did I just type that out loud?

Colt Brennon. marcus mason, and more i never get hyped up over preseason anymore Alot of local media now are saying Dallas dont need a back up any more for Romo they all ready have one Dak Prescott i dont know why i started a thread of dak but i im sure the rams did not game plain that much and who nows what any team motaive is during preason hell maybe jay gruden talked to falcons and said we are going to run alot in a game so test us load the box alot who knows?

You started this thread because it's fun to goof on a silly Cowboy fan base. One (very first) pre-season game where no planning is done by opposing teams and starters play a series or two, and their hooping and hollering and carrying on,, well lets just say little Johnny getting his first kiss ever in the schoolyard behind the playground slide didn't get this excited,,,, but let em have their moment... it's priceless.

So who's talking about cutting Romo. By the way most if not all Cowboy fans have stated it's only one half of a preseason game. Considering the question mark at BU QB yes I think Dallas fans have good reason to be excited.

Watched the game and Dak looked competent and poised with the 1's.

Liked his mobility and he made some very nice passes that had accuracy and distance.

Also made some errors under pressure as you'd expect.

Might end up being a great pick for the Boys, will be interesting to see his growth and development.

That said, it's a pre season game.
