That validates my thought that he pre-read the route on the first pick. Of course so did Prince Alphabet. If he is supposed to throw the route regardless then it is on the coaches to run it out of different looks so the D can't pre-read the route. Gibbs was famous for this. He would run his standard plays but out of all kinds of different formations and packages so the D couldn't predetermine the play.

My issue was on the receiver there. Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of bodies. But in that instance the receiver is supposed to "cross the face" of the DB. Had he done that, you're looking at an incomplete pass. Not a pick.
