Small hands and bad weather, outdoor stadium are not a good mix. Bridgewater gets by with gloves (we saw how much he struggled at his pro day without them), but with Goff being at Cal, I doubt he's worn gloves. Wentz is probably the best fit for Cleveland if they go QB at 2.

Since Janikowski? Sebastian had a bigger boot than Aguayo. I love the media this time of the year.. :L Hyping everything up they can. And Aguayo is good don't get me wrong. He was money as FSU

Most accurate kicker in NCAA history. I do like UCLA's kicker as well (Ka'imi Fairbairn).

Greg Z has a big leg too. doesn't do much when you aren't accurate though.

Still like Zuerlien, most of his misses are from 50+

I just wish he could ratchet down the power on the midrange FGs. Too often you see that power drift, causing a wide-right miss.

Janikowski was drafted in a different century technically.

Yes but Janikowski had the big leg with accuracy. He was a beast in college and in the pros. Still kickin I believe? He went on a few bad streaks, but overall the guy was/is solid.

I sure hope Goff "tiny" hands scare teams and he falls to us. His hands measured out to 9 inches like Bridgewater, unlike Bridgewater he might be in sunny LA where you don't need gloves.

On another note, Fisher and Snead have confidence in Case being a solid starter. That is nice and all, but we have had one of my the worst offenses in the NFL for years now. You haven't earned the fans trust on your judgements on the offensive side of the ball.

:agree: And Fisher going into year 5, hmmm!:nono::scratch::noidea: My guess is he really doesn't want to bank on HIS future with Case as his savior. He will be looking for a QB somewhere.

not necessarily.

he may think Mannion can be the guy. I don't think they are going to give up on him already when they just drafted him.

yah, everyone is forgetting about Mannion! The way I look at it is if we draft a qb @15, we might as well label Mannion a bust, because drafting another qb when we already have 3 on the team only tells me that they don't have any faith Mannion.

If they draft a QB, another move is needed. Either find a home for Foles via trade, don't re-sign Keenum (which doesn't seem likely at this point) or move Mannion for a draft pick.

All Fisher is doing by naming Case Keenum the starter is basically saying the job is WIDE OPEN. This motivates all QBs in camp and creates a competition. I just hope someone elevates their play and we have an Oline in place that can pass block. If G Rob doesn't improve, it may not matter who is at QB.

Paxton Lynch says a couple of teams were “spooked” by Combine medical exam

Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch came out of college with questions to answer about his mechanics and polish as a quarterback, but those weren’t the only ones that concerned teams at the Scouting Combine.

Lynch’s media session on Friday was delayed because his medical exam ran longer than expected. Lynch said he had suffered previous injuries to both knees and his shoulder, although he wasn’t aware of the one that turned up during his physical.

“When I hurt my AC joint my sophomore year against Cincinnati, I didn’t realize that I had a small fracture in my clavicle,” Lynch said, via NJ.com. “So that showed up on the x-ray. But it’s healed. There are pieces of bones just floating around in there. It spooked a team or two, so they requested an MRI.”

Lynch said he isn’t bothered by anything in his shoulder, although it will be one more thing for teams to add to their evaluation in the coming months. Of bigger consequence will surely be Lynch’s ability to run a pro offense, something he also addressed on Friday.

“The schemes are going to be a little bit different. I’m going to have to call the plays from the huddle,” Lynch said. “But that isn’t something I see as an issue as long as I work on it. I know some of the pass protections and things will be similar, just different terminology. As long as I get to work, I don’t see it as something I can’t handle.”

Lynch and the rest of the quarterbacks work out in Indianapolis on Saturday.
