i thought he was in jail
I forgot all about that guy.
A woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by former Baltimore Orioles pitcher Alfredo Simon last year has filed a $15 million civil lawsuit against him.
The lawsuit was filed in Washington D.C. Superior Court on Thursday and claims the incident happened at a DC hotel in April 2013. The woman, who is listed as Jane Doe, is seeking $5 million in compensatory damages and $10 million in punitive damages.
Simon made his major league debut with the Orioles in 2008 and pitched for the team for four years. The 32-year-old is now in his third season with the Cincinnati Reds.
This is not Simon's first run in with the law. Simon was charged with involuntary manslaughter in 2011 after the fatal shooting of a man on New Year's Eve in the Dominican Republic. He was later acquitted after defense attorneys said the fatal bullet did not come from Simon's gun and no witnesses saw him fire his weapon.
The woman is being represented by Baltimore based attorney Steven Kelly.
he was with the o's for 4 years let go out of spring training and started playing for the reds after he was let go . so 2011 was split 2008 - 09 - 10 - 11 O's / reds 11 - 12 -13 my guess ??Me too.

I should've found a better link. How can someone play 4 years for a team, starting in 2008, and then play for another team for 3 years? THAT DON'T ADD UP. lol
