cant remember his contract history.. will a 2 year deal keep him RFA at the end?

if i remember correctly there's a certain number of years from your first contract you will be a RFA when any contract expires.. like 5 years or something? i think they did this with carter.. after his 3 year entry level deal was up, they signed him to a 2 year contract so that he was restricted again at the end of it

No, Giroux will still be a RFA at the end of his deal. The Flyers wouldn't screw that up. He's now the centerpiece of the entire franchise.
