From what I read, they are not on the same page as to his Role with the team. 3rd line wing to be counted on to score 15-20 goals, add a physical presence with speed and play some PK sounds about right. There, his role is defined.
cant remember his contract history.. will a 2 year deal keep him RFA at the end?
if i remember correctly there's a certain number of years from your first contract you will be a RFA when any contract expires.. like 5 years or something? i think they did this with carter.. after his 3 year entry level deal was up, they signed him to a 2 year contract so that he was restricted again at the end of it
capgeek will say but it's blocked at work
According to capgeek, yes, he will be RFA after these two years.
Not bad for a guy without a finger on the pulse.
cool. i figured that's why it was a 2-year contract.. that'll keep his price down in 2 years too
giroux's contract was 3 years wasn't it? he goes past the limit for RFA status i believe.. which is unfortunate, he'll be expensive then
a dog could sign a restricted 3rd liner to a reasonable contract
Excellent signing. Well done Homer. Any word if they trade or waive Shelley?
