im having a hard time buying nd that high but I could say the same thing about lsu. nd's trength has been defense since Kelly arrived. the d isn't going to be at that level this yr imo. we also have no clue how good golson really he is. he wasn't anything special in his freshman season. too many question marks to be ranked that high.

I agree with you. I don't think LSU should be ranked that high either based on no to little experience in key positions. My inner Homer thinks the young guys step up and we go 10-2, we could easily drop 4+

You don't think Golson can run a read option offense? Especially with one of the best backfields in the country with Folston, Bryant and McDaniel?

As long as Kelly doesn't get pass happy then we have a very good chance at winning 10 games.

I have no faith in the offense under Kelly. he would rather make the flashy "look how smart I am" call over the right play call. nd lost 2 stud o-linemen. a ton of question marks to be ranked inside the top 15 imo

Best backfields? Bryant 3 rushes last year, Folston 470 yds, and McDaniel 705 yds. Hard to claim that title with a production of less than 1200 yds. And I like McDaniel's style.

Auburn put up 31 points on FSU.

FSU wasn't challenged all season last year, playing Duke in the Conf. Championship, and even Auburn wasn't the best team from their conference.

Completely agree. I expect to see a mediocre LSU team early that grows into a solid team over the course of the year. 4-2 start would not be a surprise. A little bit of a schedule break getting the Mississippi schools and Bama at home this year.
