PAC12 is struggling right now. I'm tentative to say that Oregon and ASU may be the only deserving top 25 teams in the PAC, with Arizona not far behind. UTSA and Nevada might not lose any conference games.

Stanford is still going to be a top 10 team. Bad offensive performance in the red zone against SC. They've started slow several times in the last few years, but they'll be fine

SC losing to BC is a classic Sark move. Decided he randomly didn't trust his passing game and would prefer to smash his face into concrete. Last year he randomly decided to give the ball to Sankey like 10 times against ASU. He's always going to be good for one or two losses a year that are completely on him and game prep.

Perhaps you missed the game last night. The o-line couldn't run block or pass protect. Kessler was sacked 5 times and hurried or forced out of the pocket several more times. Sark didn't randomly decide anything. If the line can't run block or pass protect, it doesn't matter what the coach calls.

Their D had our o-line confused most of the night. They looked like they were prepared as far as knowing the defense, but they were slow to get up to game speed. By the time they did and the offense started to get a little rhythm, it was already too late.

If we're still seeing stuff like this next year and the year after, then it's on Sark and his staff. Last night was freshmen playing like freshmen. Sucks for last night and I think the combo of playing so many experienced guys and lack of depth will cost us at least 1 more game this season. However, on the positive side, I think the experience they are getting now will pay off over the next couple of seasons.

The beautiful thing about playing in a media market like LA is you get a ton of hype and can be over rated. It brings about a ton of positive exposure for your program so you can bring in tons of talent from all over the country.

The bad thing is minor mistakes get magnified far more. Like Haden goes down to the field and argues with officials and its the talk of college football for a week. Alverez goes down to the field and argues with officials and no one notices. Or a disgruntled player sitting at #4 in the depth chart quits and tweats that the HC is a racist and its national news, same situation in Kansas doesn't even make the Kansas papers.

Oh well enjoy I'd expect SC to be down a few more years till they can get back up to around 80+ scholarship players. The lack of depth had the lines, especially the D-lines gassed last night. But I'd still pick SC to finish in the top 20.
