No one is saying shady sucks. Just go read the game threads from last season. McCoy will have you chanting his name, and pulling your hair out. He is not consistent. At the end of the day he ran soft, never fights for first downs even when the game is on the line, and he jukes even when hes all alone. He is obsessed with being barry sanders, not with winning football games. He is a great back... but he killed drives by the dozens last year. And as much as I like the kid, I will not miss him running out of bounds a yard shy of the 1st down marker with nothing but a corner in his way.

Or they saw shady for the back he is in chips offense, a bad fit. 2013, was great and everything seemed rosy. Even foles was a record setting qb. But how many times in 2014 did shady fail to hit hole and stall drives? Too many to count. Yes, Oline was hurt, qb play was bad, but his east_West running didn't mesh with our offense. That's on the field. Off the field, chip was likely tired of managing shadys ego, and all his talking off the field.

You can appreciate the runner shady is and was for us, and also see he doesn't fit now.
