Should the Bulls blow it up if they don't make finals?

After hearing about Love injury and JR likely out 2-5 games, IT IS NOW OR NEVER for the Bulls

They're never making the finals if they don't get there this year. This is their chance.

pretty much what my opinion was in the Heat/Celts thread.

Assuming Bulls stay healthy, they have no valid excuse to not beat a wounded, suspended, inexperienced Cavs.

I still don't believe the Bulls are playing their top game. They know they can beat the Bucks so they're still coasting. When the match-up with Cleveland starts you'll see a different Bulls team. They'll be more focused against an actual threat.

they have played like absolute garbage the entire bucks series. average over 20 turnovers a game. it has been frustrating

Chicago should be able to close it tonight, Milwaukee is ready for an off season upgrade. I think next year the bucks should be able to become a quality east coast team and the competition will be ferocious. You have Boston and Indiana who will become better teams too.

You could say the same about the Cavs.

It does.

JR only got 2 games so they have a chance still. As long as they don't lose the first 2 home games, I expect this to still be a long 6 or 7 game series

yea from the cavs perspective you almost wish you could defer you home court games til you at least get JR back. oh well, this is what happens when you have no composure

LeBron insisted on Miller and Jones.
Well, opportunity handed to them.
It's a blow for sure, but they still have James, Kyrie and a 7 ft center.

The Heat losing Bosh DURING a series was a much bigger loss because we were so outsized and had no time to prepare.
They still found a way to win.

No excuses.

Give the Bucks some credit. They are an excellent defensive team, but pretty limited on offense. Basically, they are the Bulls from a couple of seasons ago.

Aside from the Bucks being a very good defensive team, the Bulls are still trying to get on the same page and get used to playing together. Rose is finally playing after being out most of the past 2 years and this is Pau's first year with the Bulls. In a way, it's good that the Bucks have extended the series, the Bulls need more time on the court together.

I wonder if the Bulls had their mind on Cleveland yesterday. They better give the Bucks their undivided attention in Game 6 or the pressure will get serious.

I say combination of looking ahead to Cavs and not adjusting to the length/athleticism of Bucks (plus waaayyyyy to much D. Rose).

Hell we have to beat Milwaukee first.

These guys are looking ahead and getting outplayed. Game 5 at home was a dam disgrace. Bucks are bringing the intensity and defense that the Bulls have not matched at all.

Once we beat the Bucks we can figure out a way to try to stop Kyrie and Lebron.

Possible but Milwaukee is a bad matchup for Chicago. Milwaukee been the better team in my opinion in 3 of the 5 games
