How stupid are you? nevermind its been on display throughout this thread.

What in the ever living fuck does Nebraska offer to a P5 conference? Zero TV markets, shitty as fuck recruiting grounds, average academics. So tell me numnuts, what the fuck does Nebby offer. B1G took a gamble that Nebby would become relevant again and lost big time.

I love comments like this form arrogant assholes from the South that believe the SEC is the end all be all.

Miss State and Arky fan used to say the same shit. Even Go Gata fan.

Jawja may be really good now. Enjoy it.

Look at a map of where the talent lives, and you'll see a map of the top teams.

It's easy to see a path for Texas to come back. A lot harder to see a path for Nebraska. Texas doesn't have to convince recruits to come 1000+ miles from home to play for them.
The tired recruiting argument.

Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan/(State) All B1G teams that recruit just fine and do just fine with the recruits they get 1000's of miles away.

Recruiting is a tired argument.

Sure they could go ahead and quit football
Or, they could do the next best thing and join the Pac 12

Ohio State is the only team you mentioned that is a serious threat for the natty, and Ohio is a hotbed for talent.

Penn State and Wisconsin are chopped liver?'

Again. Not shocking to hear arrogance from an SEC fan.

They usually have 12-4 5*/4* recruits, and usually have 60-70 kids each year that go P5.

I think Wisconsin is a pretty good counterexample here. Their program was built by a Nebraska guy and there isn't great recruiting ground there or in their border states. MSU and Penn State can always go across the border to pick up quality talent.

And nobody in the B10 dips down into SEC country, Texas, or the Southwest for talent either.

Wait a minute. They all do. Even my sorry sad sack team.
