Day to Day
Roger Goodell sent personal invitations to every player who has won the Super Bowl MVP to attend Super Bowl 50 and participate in a ceremony honoring all of them.
There have been ongoing arguments since this past weekend whther or not Brady should attend.
The pros say that Brady has been the MVP three times and the only other three time winner, Joe Montana will be there because the game is in the 49ers new stadium. They say it's a ceremony honoring each player for outstanding achievement during the NFL's most highlighted games.
the antis are saying that attending would be bad because Goodell and the NFL spent nearly a year degrading, lying and trying to defame Brady and going would be equivalent to forgiving them even though they're still going after him in court. Others say that he should make a statement and publicly boycott the ceremony and say that he can't attend while he and the league are in litigation.
Personally, I think he should go. 30 years from now, I think he'll feel like Bill Russell does today, wishing he hadn't been so pigheaded and enjoyed the fame and honors he refused in the 1960's. Who knows? Maybe there won't be a Super Bowl 75 or Super Bowl 100...........Brady won the three MVPs, take his place among the few others at the head of the table.
