I have a serious problem here. This list has Michael Crabtree as a WR1 but I am pretty sure team's don't put mediocre receivers at WR1.

But seriously, what are the TD, PD(Tip), INT numbers against the #1's?

Who is SFs #1 if Crabtree is not? Boldin?

When healthy they are both similar at this point. Both have had a half season where they were Kaep's #1 target. IF they both play the whole year I bet their #'s will be similair. The way Seattle plays I dont think they will have a clear #1 either Harvin, Baldwin will probably be close as well. The Rams don't really have one either Austin, Britt and Givens are probably in the same mix. So that's 6 games where I dont think the whole shadowing the #1 receiver will mean that much.

Obviously you did
Quoting 1 part of a post doesn't quite add up to that. IF you're only here to talk trash then avoid my post.

Pretty sure he wasn't trying to suggest anyone else was their #1. It was a reference to Sherman calling him a sorry ass receiver and mediocre. So he was saying Sherman doesn't think he is their #1.

It's a joke man, lighten up.

For starters, Peterson himself has declared it numerous times. Most discussions have spawned from that.

As for who has said it in this thread? There's too many pages for me to skim through to remember who actually said it. But I know it has at least been implied with the arguments presented.

you said you'd pick a player over another due to something that has zero to do with the game.

it was stupid.

own your stupidity instead of bitching at those who point it out.

I don't have any problem with Peterson saying it. You're suppose to believe that way as a player especially when you're a top 4 CB in the league. It's not like he's Dee Millner or something so I'm fine with that.

I just didn't know that posters actually stated that as well

if you go by stats and success rating is Peterson even a top 5 CB? Maybe in 2012 ( 1 year out of 3 )

Why does it bother any of you in the first place? Some people do think PP is the better corner, while others like Sherman better. Like I said id take either of them and be happy. If PP was a Hawk and Sherman was a Card most of you would be saying PP was the better corner.

Let the season begin!

It is fine to have an opinion, but this is the Seahawks board so of course we are going to back Sherman.

Add to it that there is valid statisical data to show that he has been more productive then we have good reason to post our opinion that Sherman is better.

If you took away the names and teams, and just look at the data then this would not even be a discussion. Peterson may well be more athletic but he is not a better CB.
