Know what rly grinds my gears?

AM sports radio and the 45 mims of commercials along with 15 minutes of the hosts talking about what theyre going to talk about in later segments..

I only usually listen in me car.. that gives me 10-15 minutes er so.. THERE SHOULD NEVER BE 15 FULL MINUTES OF COMMERCIALS. Its stupid and bad radio..

I listen because it's on, and it's about Husker football.

I have a confession tho. I stopped listening to Schick and Nick last year because I could no longer stand Nick's fake laugh.

If he were to return, I would just listen to music..

First and foremost, the wrong guy quit!!!! The real problem is still there unfortunately. Peter was not great but Sharp dragged him down to the depths of hell.

Second, it has only been what, 6-7 weeks? Ratings don't come out that quickly. If it was poor ratings then Sharp would be gone as well. I am not saying that the ratings are good or bad but the management at 1620 would not just blow it up like that so quickly.

Nick is not coming back!!! Damon has a GREAT job so he isn't coming in either!!! I LOVE Vrzal but any one that is matched with Sharp is going to be horrible just through osmosis.

His negativity. So what if he was right. Husker fan doesn't want to hear that. They want someone like Baugh, who was negative when they sucked, but got all giggly about them when they won...... you know, like Husker Fan. :P

Well, you do have to think about who the average listener is........

You aren't ever going to drive Husker listeners to your show if you're talking bad about the Huskers at all times.......

It's about money, not about what's real. That's the unfortunate world of anything and everything that has to do with any form of media. Pick your target crowd, and then say whatever you have to say to appeal to them. Stir up drama too......even if you don't want to. People like drama.

Whatever that loud boisterous laugh they had on there. It was Nick's laugh but I think it was canned (push a button). It just annoyed me because they used it too much so I just turned it off one day.

Schick was great. He's a great talent, was great on CH 7, and I know someone who's dad worked with Schick at the station back in his Kearney days. We were lucky to have him here..

No way. Them conservatards bore the hell outa me. I am content listening to the fan on my laptop. I don't need smoke blown up my ass. What I need is sports talk with FANS, not "We did it this way so you guys suck," people..... and it was boring on top of that.

Once they broke up Chicken Nick, it was all down hill. I thought it would be good because my son said he liked listening to Peter in Lincoln. 5 minutes into the new show I knew it was over. Haven't been back.
Maybe Nick will come back, maybe with Damon Benning. He was always good.
