Except for that last lazy penalty Marleau has been good this game. He did all the work to force the offensive zone faceoff that resulted in their 1st goal and his work along the boards kept the play alive for Pavelski's PP goal.

One thing I have to say about Pavs. Those incredible puck deflection skills and with those he will always be an excellent goal scorer....Thornton or no Thornton. The man deserves his kudos.

The offensive faceoff was more on Allen. Just saw the highlight of that and Jones and Roenick are saying that was on Allen. His fault and he was responsible for the 1st goal.

The goal, yes but Marleau did some great defensive work to force the offensive zone faceoff. Without Marleau's play that's a defensive zone faceoff at best.

Amazing win. Team is in uncharted territory and on the verge of something great. And best of all the choking from the past has basically disappeared.

Missed the first two periods, but got home just in time to watch my boy pavelski work his magic! Hey Korks, where is his disappearing act now? More like a franchise record for goals in a PO's and now the likely front runner for the conn smyth, not to mention already the greatest captain in sharks history as he leads absolutely by example making giant plays in giant moments look regular while motivating every player on the roster. That GWG was unreal as that puck was going nowhere near the net. Unbelievable!

Also awesome to see them overcome Jones who was a little shaky and to answer adversity being down 2-1 and 3-2 after a tough game 4. The heart is unreal and the leadership of deboer and pavs is uncanny and cool.

I am going to game six and praying for history!

Still not in yet! I would LOVE to watch patrick marleau score the OT GWG live on Wed. He has been so painfully disappointing this series, that he needs to add major value. His penalty was terrible (thank god they didnt give a goal there), and his non-existant production is really hurting. I mean 4 SOG in 5 games. no goals, no EV points. Its amazing that the team is one game away from the SCF with him being this poor.

I would also love to see that Patty Game winner assisted by dillon and polak, cuz they have been awful too. 17 games, zero points combined for those two. That's pretty hard to do when your team scores 58 goals in that span, and a combined -4 in that span too, and about a hundred dumb penalties (Ok, maybe like 10, but still).

Game 6 is gunna be tough, but I cannot wait!

Well Dillion and Polak aren't expected to out up points more just get the puck out of thier end and not get scored on lol. These haven't been the best PO's for Marleau that's for sure however I won't complain if he goes on one of his points streaks soon.

Pavelski is having mark messierIsh playoff run. We will be talking about it for years if they get 5 more wins.

I would expect to see Elliot in game 6, Allen just plays way to small to have any hope against the Sharks.
