we should toss marleau to them if possible, why not? the guy is a veteran and they won't have to worry about making the playoffs to see his ghost performance. he'll teach the youngins there. GREAT TRADE.

marleau will not be traded. DW was still high on him after last yea and he's a shark for life. Dougie is that kind of a guy.

I dream every summer of dealing that POS off the team and saving his 7M salary, but it's not gunna happen. The guy get 6.9M per year and can still go a whole playoff scoreless and he's still beloved by dougie. he hasnt been so much as a plus player in the PO's since 2005-6. His record in SJ is that of a 2nd line winger, and he gets among the top 15 forwards in the league. AND STILL, dougie loves him. He's not going anywhere.

however, maybe dougie will manage to assemble the largest collection of 4th liners in the league. he's got burish, desi, wingels, and zues so far and still have another 6M on the cap to sign 2 or 3 more!

DAMN! roy for ott and pardy. What a great deal for dallas. Ott is a damn tough guy to play against, but he takes a ton of penalties and can be a distraction. Roy can be a legit point per game player and easy top 6 F. He had some struggles early last year, but this guy is damn good. And dallas ditched the 2M they owed pardy who sucks balls. How the hell did buffalo get duped into this one... Great deal for dallas, and I really wish the sharks could have pulled something like this off.

If dallas can unload pardy who is paid 2M and had a total of 3 assists and was demoted to the A for a large portion of the year, then surely murray is more valuable than that.
