Per Rapoport. I am not suprised, he couldn't get beyond just being a special teams player. It was a nice story when he got drafted but the NFL is a cold business.

I think we gave him a generous shot at sticking around. You can only keep so many guys who don't have much of a ceiling beyond ST. Our LB room is a bit too stacked for the numbers to work I think.

I get it, but this bums me out, a bit. Seems like a really good dude, works his ass off and I thought he looked pretty intriguing as a pass rusher. This play in the GB playoff game gave me goosebumps:

It was a good story while it lasted. Like someone said earlier he couldnt find much hope outside of special teams. He did see the field but wasnt all that productive. It was awesome he was able to get a sack before going out.

I think a lot of it has to do with he is so light. I read something that he actually ended last season at like 225 pounds. He doesn't have the build for the position. Speed, desire and athleticism was their.
