Altman is a good coach but I don't think this will happen. Beard went to UT and used to be an assistant there. If they can't lure him away from Texas Tech, I don't think they can lure Altman (someone who no Texas ties) from Oregon.

Rick Barnes was also at a clearly inferior program when he took the job. Altman would be leaving a program who’s had a lot more recent success than Texas

If I'm Texas I should go after Frank Martin from South Carolina. South Carolina can't fire him cause they owe him a bunch of money so they are waiting for someone to take him off their hands so the don't have to pay him.
