I think Linehan deserves just as much blame. The Cowboys in the end was gashing the Skins. They had no answer for Dak running the ball. They clearly should have went for more yards to make the field goal an easy one. They had time and were moving the ball with ease. I was sitting here wondering what the fuck are they doing?

The Cowboys weren't doing to much different except playing against a softer defense. That said the whole offense needs its backs against the wall to force them to play with any urgency.
I can point a lot of blame fingers but the two main ones are Garrett and Linehan.

Thanks man! I have a knack for parlays but I learned a long time ago to go with just first instinct and not bet anything I don't feel great about right when I first see it . It's tough because I love the action lol

I'd love to see Garrett gone, like a year ago. That's not happening. I'll settle for Linehan getting canned, though. Get Garrett's fall guy out of there now, so if/when the rest of this season collapses, Garrett has no one to absorb the blow at the end of the year.

"settling" for a 47 yard FG on a cold windy day was just ridiculous and inexcusable IMO. There was no reason to not try and get a little closer. I'm not sure I try for the end zone at all there though because I think you either do one or the other with so little time left. My preference was get closer for the FG. Wash would have basically given them a 7 - 10 yard slant there or pass over the middle. They should have taken it, used the TO and made it a 37 yard attempt.

Agreed. A FG shouldnt be seen as a gimme from that distance.

Garrett thinks that any field goal under 60 yards is a chip shot. He even iced his own kicker before because the field goal was going to be too easy
