Which is true. Dwight Howard should be the beastly of all beats in the paint. DUde is soft for his size and athletic ability. It's a shame.

I don't think Dwight is to good on offense which is why they might not be doubling him?

He really struggles against longer/taller centers. Would love to see him develop a jumper from any distance, but that is almost definitely never going to happen.

This is why I don't think a team can win a title with Dwight as a leader or one of the main players. His best chance for the Rockets to get a title with Dwight is for them to get another star player and Dwight accept a Chris Bosh type role.


With the difference being Bosh can still score late in games and hit free throws.

Let's ignore the fact that he was the only reason Orlando were championship contenders for about 3 seasons and actually got them to the finals

Orlando's ability to shoot from the perimeter had a lot to do with that too.

I was a Heat fan before 2006 but yeah players never change teams....

Without teams doubling Dwight every time he touched the ball, Orlando shooting ability wouldn't have gotten them out of the first round with a different Center who never commanded a double team

Double teaming Dwight was only part of it. The bigger part was ball movement and spacing.
