Just got in from the game bitches..
Whoa......whatta great time!

Fights on the ice..
Life at a hockey game is great!
Oh...yeah, the game.
Well.....aside from the sleep walking act in the 2nd, the Flyer's could really do anything that they wanted to.
Bob looked shaky. It was like he had/has some sort of problem picking up the puck from within 15 feet. Either that or his reaction time is waaaaay too slow. Ahh...we won, so who cares? :p
For the Sen's.....for all of the negative attention Philips gets, he was on top of everything that was happening. Every face off, off sides or penalty that was called...there was Philips in one of the ref's faces to get an explanation. Alfredsson was nowhere to be found.
Karlsson was the Sen's best player tonight. That kid is seriously talented. They really have a future star in that boy.

Congrats on the win Tox!
I felt that the game was closer then the score indicated. The Sens got off to a bad start but recovered over the next 40 minutes, scored a couple goals, hit some posts and had a goal waived off. As soon as Elliott had any pressure on him he collapsed.
As for Phillips...I thought he was really good in this game but it didn't matter much since Elliott couldn't stop a beach ball anyway. Pretty interesting that it was Phillips who spoke to the official every time too. Usually the captain does it most of the time and now that you mention it, I kind of remember Phillips doing it quite a bit. I'm not going to read too much into that though. That's usually what Alfie does anyway.

He was the guy I reallllly wanted the Flyers to draft but the Sens took him right before us. We then Got Luca Sbisa and traded him somewhere for some scrub wearing #20. Guess that was a win/win...

The MVP...
Murray traded up in the draft to get him and it's probably his best move as GM. The kid regularly plays 25 or 26 minutes at 20. He really is going to be something special. Even on a bad team he still looks pretty good this year so I'd have to think on a good team, he'd be right up there as one of the best defensemen in the league.
