Shane Hallam:

Conner Vernon made a one handed catch in the end zone. Tavarres King had juked Robert Lester out of his shoes twice

BW Webb shining today. Using his hands so well in red zone and won't let WRs go up on the fade

- Teams loved the play of Datone Jones/DL/UCLA during Senior Bowl practices but think he won’t be selected early in the draft. The feeling is he has no real position at the next level and is a hard schematic fit. Right now most say third round.

5 technique is not a real position?

EJ Manuel threw some beauties today in red zone drills. Ended the drill drawing raves from teammates on a fade to Terrence Williams

Ryan Lownes:

The more I watch Markus Wheaton, the less sure I am about Cordarrelle Patterson and Keenen Allen as my top two WRs.

I've heard the Mike Wallace comp. and that's not entirely inaccurate, but Wheaton is twice the WR Wallace was coming out of college.

Markus Wheaton is a burner. Mike Wallace comparisons make sense from a vertical, straight line speed standpoint, but I don't know about anything else.

When the Beavers were hot early on this year I caught a couple of their games on TV to see why...? The announcers were raving about Wheaton and I couldn't see what the big deal was about - to me it sounded like they were exaggerating about his speed. He didn't play as fast as he was allegedly timed. Can't wait to see his #s at the combines.

NFL Draft Bible:

Ask me what I learned from Senior Bowl this week and I'll tell you that it's confirmed, offensive tackle the strongest position in the draft

-----------------------------------

Kevin Weidl:

Cal CB Marc Anthony had himself a week. Got hands on the ball the most of any DB that I saw this week.

Matt Miller:

Another NFL scout told me today that his team has a late-round grade on Mike Glennon. Teams already stacking their boards.

Not surprising. He's not a good fit for alot of teams.
