So I turn on the tv this morning and there an NBA game on the current channel. Thinking I was channel surfing last night and I ended up leaving the tv on TBS or TNT or a Fox Sports channel, I was about to change it when I noticed that the game was littered with captions (like VH1 used to do with pop-up videos) explaining the game, and the play that was going on, and adding little humorous quips, along with exploding hoops when they scored.
Turns out my daughter was the last one to use this tv and the channel was.....Cartoon Network!!!
Indoctinating them young, eh?
On-topic part...after my initial shock and disgust over this, then I got to thinking, if Turner were to pick up the NHL rights, they could do this with NHL games as well, and start building the NHL fanbase at a nice young age.
