I hope so. They're a little thin up front this year, but they're much better on defense. They have 3 legit pairings on the backend which hasn't happened.....maybe ever for them.

The above is as good of defense as they've ever had. As long as Niemo doesn't implode, they have a chance. After their top 6 forwards though, it gets pretty thin as far as putting the puck in the net.

You're probably right about Coyle. Braun looked really good when he was given a chance last season. Petrecki & Doherty are coming as well. The Sharks have a lot of depth on D.

I like all the Sharks fans here... but I think the ship might have sailed on this generation's Shark roster. Every time they make a big move to shake up team chemistry, they respond with the same old 2nd/3rd round bow out. They're like the 90s Red Wings without Scotty Bowman (or the 00s Senators, if you will); every piece necessary for a division title, but one piece short of a Campbell Trophy.

I took the family out for Chinese food the other day, and met my dad and grandma there. I got sat first with my family and the waitress came over and took drink orders in broken english. She brought me out my drink, and while she was doing that my dad and grandma came in. We all got up, gave hugs and handshakes, etc, then sat back down. After we sat down, the waitress walked right back up to me, looked me in the eye, and said "what you like to drink sir?"
