We take it stride because we hear it constantly about not winning a cup.

Doesn't bug me any because i believe that the longer the wait, the sweeter the reward.

Our time is coming extremely quickly i hope

LOLLLZZZ

With who?!? Brock Boner? Bo Whore Hat? No respect for either of those pansies. I mean, has either one of them even TRIED to injure another player yet?!??! Pathetic.

Only decent Canuck is Virtanen. Plays the game the right way!!!

Saying "Marchand isn't a pussy" is absurd. He rarely steps up to a fight when challenged and when he does it's against "heavyweights" like Steven Stamkos and Matt Niskanen. Seven total fights, he's lost most of them.

Marchand is not "tough." If you want to mock the Sedins for not winning a Cup, hey, have at it. Not very classy in a retirement thread, but you can't argue with the factual accuracy. But if you're acting like Brad Marchand is a pillar of toughness, then you know fuck all about hockey. He's a great scorer and skater, he's a cheap shot artist, he's a diver, and he avoids answering the bell for his actions on the ice. When he does get in a fight, he gets to the ice real fast. Lots of positive (and negative) attributes for Marchand. Tough isn't one of them.
you misread my posts.

tough relative to the sedin girls. marchands never been afraid to mix it up, regardless of how you view him. hes not mat cooke for shits sake, nor tie domi.

hes a gifted scorer with a short fuse and a huge nose.

but he would never let someone punch him in the face 5 times and just stand there.

No he wouldn't. He'd have flopped to the ice like he was shot long before punch number 2 was thrown.

My proverbial Patrik Elias is wildly underrated post. If the Sedins are Hall of Fame worthy which the overwhelming majority of pundits I have heard suggest, then Elias is a Hall of Famer.

Elias: GP: 1240, P: 1,025
H Sedin: GP: 1,327, P: 1,068
D Sedin: GP: 1,303, P: 1,038

Elias also had the handicap of not playing with his clone.

or...or...he'd have at LEAST manned up and defended himself.

marchands gotta deal with his past. he used to be that guy. he really hasnt been the past few years, sans this last suspension.

its a good thing is a hockey hall of fame and not an NHL HOF.

daniel led the nhl in pts once. PP goals once (same year)
he had 4 seasons over a PPG

henrik led the nhl in pts once, assists 3 times in a row.

he had 3 seasons over a PPG (5 that were close, within a pt)

This was TWO days ago. He was, is and always will be a POS. A very good player but he's a piece of shit.

thats his battle now. he doesnt get calls, because hes who he is....even with his game evolving.
he had a real case a week or so ago. refs wouldnt pay him any mind.

technically, two days ago is in "the past".
anigif_sub-buzz-23978-1464882761-2.gif

you know what im referring to. he used to be just "the rat". a dick who would chip in 20-25 goals while not making any friends.
then his skills blossomed and that long stick became useful for more than just agitating.
now hes just a dick on occasion.

neat stat found on the tweets: Sedins point total represents more than 20% of the entire output of that draft year.

also, my goodness the ignore button freshens things up nicely.
