Because I did not see that many games, nor pay the normal attention I usually do this year I was somewhat out of the loop in regards to what the fans were saying. However most of the Price criticism I saw or heard came from fans of other teams saying he was done.
I seem to remember catching a small amount of flack for saying that Price is still (mechanically) one of the top goalies on earth.
And he seemed a tad off still early in the Leafs series, he has pulled it together really well.
I thought the main problem was scoring and offense, not an old goalie. But I only saw maybe 8 regular season games.
