Not makin any excuses for the rangers , they played like they didn’t belong in the PS. An embarrassing effort, one the rangers fans know all to well..
But, I am going to say had that game been reffed properly. The rangers might have been bailed out by some calls
When they were on a PP, burns cross checked Zibs, broke his stick against Zibs back. Zibs went down , took him right out of play. He didn’t cry to ref, but it killled that time of PP. on that same PP the canes had too many men on ice for 10 seconds. How the puck does a ref miss that?
There were other calls, panarin got hooked .
I know the refs were probably told to swallow, being that games before they called the games like it was beginning of season.
F the refs stupidity, doesn’t take much to know the canes were the desperate team !

When you can’t score 5-5 you suck
When you go up 3 on. A team and you see they are totally out of it and you let them back in, you suck
I have watched many teams in hockey in the playoffs, and no team sucks more then the ny rangers
