would just like to see the refs dip into the CBJ room and say
"Sorry guys, we just didn't see it. Tonight, it's open season on the rat. Literally anything goes."

Which, IMO, is why Kadri got the suspension he received. League trying to avoid vigilante justice

Up to CBJ on how they respond. Best for them to let it go, unless and until Brad does something silly.

Dreger's take (probably after checking with the league)

You are right. It is definitely comparable to the Domi-Samuelsson incident though.

Posting this just for the Burke interview at the start. And its just fun to talk Marchand.

Payback's a bitch, eh Ulfie?

Tie Domi should've been given an award for that.

What the hell did the Bruins do "internally" last time lol

Shannon's such a shill.

We got the tying goal in game 2 and the winner in 3 while he was in the box. I say we stay that course.

Oh, they have force meters inside player's helmets?

Might be cool... If they don't charge concession prices.

I don't want to pay $12 for a beer to watch a game on a screen.

In Edmonton, they charge you $80 just to walk the concourse (no view of the game mind you, but you get to soak in the playoff atmosphere).

How would Edmonton know what playoff atmosphere is?:)

In an unprecedented move the BJ’s made a trade with the Flames to allow James Kneel one shift in game 4.

I'm driving James to the airport and purchased his airline ticket for him (one way of course).

This is the type of shit that the league needs to have a mechanism for the commish to suspend people in the next CBA. There's enough examples of Marchand crossing the line but not going far enough to warrant a DOPS suspension or, like the licking, not technically violating a safety-related rule.

Give the commish the authority to say enough is enough every once in a while and sit him down for a game or two.

The commish who works for the owners that would be angry one of their players got suspended?

Would love to be in on that conversation.

"Hey, Jeremy. Listen, I feel that Marchand went too far an-"
"Get on your knees and lick my boots, SHREW!"
"You're right, I'm sorry"

I mean, I like the idea and in a world without twitchy smurf, it might just work.

This is the same commish who poo-poos all the science and medical findings linking head trauma/concussions and CTE in hockey, so put me in the camp that a sucker punch to the back of an opposing player's head would likely be ignored.
