Let DH take the practice snaps and design the offense to play to DH’s strengths . And DH has to execute or we lose big . An unhealthy CDC also means we lose big

The talent is there because of the defensive players and they have a great coaching staff as far as defense goes, but I will also say that Alex Smith has always helped his defenses in field position, time of possession, etc. We might not see it in these small sample size, but if he were able to play for a season, I think we would see time of possession, turnover differential, field position, etc. Smith has a lot of interceptions this year, uncharacteristically, for him. But once he (if) gets his groove, I think it will be corrected.

This is not to say that you don’t want a Mahomes like quarterback, but the defense will be optimized with someone like him and then with the offense matures, you will take off. The next quarterback is the benefactor. The winning now will help with the winning culture, the time in this offense will help all the young players here and the defense is young/great. Things may align for a good window of opportunity.

We have to eat up some clock. Cannot go 3 & out with Wilson as he will make you pay as he is no Mullens. I believe the front 4 will eat but it all depends on how staunch our coverage is downfield. Now let's go feast on some hawks!

If the playoffs started today, we would host the Seahawks so there you go. (4 vs 5) How ironic. Might as well make this our own playoff game.

Or is that ranking in post #17 strictly a points scored per game in the 5 games Alex has been the starter type stat? Cause with Alex's passing numbers I don't see any whicha way the offense as a whole could be ranked in the top 10.
