Game Thread: Seattle Sounders vs Undefeated FC Dallas

Game is tonight at 5:30 pm

Gonna be Seattle's toughest challenge so far this year going up against the league's best team. We will be without Evans again but Dallas will also be without two good players (Defoe and Bradley)

Dempsey, however, will be playing. He has 4 goals in 2 starts this year including a hat trick from last week's game. Looking like he's finally hitting his stride and playing like the marquee player we all expected to see

Sounders give up an early blunder but Dempsey answers with a gorgeous goal off a free kick!

No way Seattle comes back to win this game or even sneak out a tie. 3 yellow cards in the first half and plenty of just terrible mid field play allowing dallas way too many chances in our end.

This game will end with Seattle down to 10 again and I bet they lose by more than 2.

We have no rhythm offensively. I wish there was a stat on this but I think we are the worst in the league at completing passes.

Seems like the rest of the league knows this now too so all the opposing team really has to do is press their defenders and our guys panic

I usually like Yedlin but he has played terrible today. We are lucky that turnover didn't result in a third goal for Dallas

They beat the best team in the league on their pitch without playing anything that resembled good soccer. Their defense was weak all night and yet found a way to win ugly.

And of course Dempsey ends up with two more goals and all of a sudden he is looking like the 6 million dollar man we expected him to be.

All makes you think if they can get those defensive struggles worked out they could put a hell of a run together.

Man Dempsey is on fire!!!! What a win on the road vs a great team. Seems like most of our games have been decided by a late goal.
