Just pisses me off that a team is going to spend 220 million dollars and have it work for them. Baseball doesn't need that. That business model needs to fail. Buying a contender, and a possible WS champion, is a terrible thing for the game.

I don't either. We have Profar to fill util Infield. We have Baker who plays the corners and some 2B and LF. We have Soto as b/u catcher. Scratching my head. If Berkman comes back one will have to be dropped.

There was a book back in the late 70s about Steinbrenner called The Best Team Money Can Buy. Start there.

I don't like the bunt, but the situation called for it late in the game and I see why he did it. Kinsler has to have a better at bat and make a productive out. Murphy in left was stupid when you have a defensive replacement in gentry on the bench. Baker needs to hit for AJ in that situation if he uses the lefty righty matchup in every other situation. AJ has 1 hit vs Furbush. Wash should have gone out and gotten himself thrown out of that game early on to fire his guys up. First strikeout call on Murphy ball was 3 inches off the plate.
