I have been binging this one the last week or so.

It kinda reminds me of Tour of Duty. A real, gritty look at war time front line military. One of the side team members is a real life former special ops guy, and his arm shows the worse for the wear. He is one of the producers of the show, so I assume the show as a whole is his baby (or at least he was in early).

Overall, a very good show. Could be better if it were streaming or cable, but at least it gets the budget of a network show, and it seems to keep its integrity intact.

To me, Walton Goggins was the big draw for that show. I think season two wasn’t nearly as good as season one was.

He is great in every show he is in. I don't think he is a lead character, but, he is a great secondary character.

No desire to watch his show on CBS but thought he was great in The Shield and Justified.

I have 2 complaints about this show..

1) The editing is HORRIBLE. The camera angle change shots are almost never lined up properly. In one angle, a character is rubbing his face, then they change angles and he is playing with his phone then they switch back and he is rubbing his face again. That happens in almost every scene. The worst example, though, was at the Somali Residence during the big escape. The bus starts in the back with the suv running point. When they get the tail, they switch positions so the suv can shoot at the tail. They mad a BIG point of that switch. At one point, post-switch, they showed a wide shot of the chase and the suv was running point again. Then, 3 seconds later, it was in the back again shooting at the tail. I guess that is a bit of a petty complaint, but it is constant.

2) This is a recent one, but I feared the show may have ordered the sharks for the Sonny jump over them... When Davis got arrested at the bar. That scenario would NOT have gone down that way unless the cop was somehow dirty trying to run her up. She sitting at the bar when 2 large men flank her and start aggressively shoving a beer in her face. She loudly tells them to back off and they close ranks further. She pushes the beer out of her face and then they put hands on her. The cop comes up behind her, without saying anything and puts his hand on her shoulder. She elbows behind her hitting the cop in the nose. He THEN shows his badge and cuffs her. Completely unbelievable scenario.

I have not watched his new show but I have heard women say it's good. That just shows his diversity as an actor and how good he is.
Justified was a fantastic show and would not have been nearly as good without him.

I watched his new show. I was done with everything else on the internet...

It is OK, but the acting is really bad. He is NOT a (Sitcom) comedic actor. His timing is absolutely horrible.

Agreed. He and Timothy Olyphant has fantastic chemistry and knew how to play off each other.

Sucks we don't know when the rest of Season 4 will air.. Supposedly there are 16 episodes but after a few there isn't any more on for who knows when and why not

I think all shows are having trouble finishing production this year. Lots more prolonged breaks than I remember in the past across the board.

Yeah very true. They made it seem like Seal Team had all their episodes filmed but probably not, which clearly would destroy having a cohesive schedule like we are used to

He was awesome as Venus Van Dam on SOA.
