Game Thread: Seahawks vs Eagles: Wildcard Rd 1:40 PST

This is the battle of the back ups for both teams it seems.. Both teams have been just decimated with the injury bug this season... It's crazy... Watching the media this week, you'd think that the Eagles are the only team between the two with injuries... It's a better story with the Eagles I guess who are obviously also decimated with the injury bug and have been winning spite of that...

On offense, the Seahawks are without the following, so it's not like we haven't been banged up too:
(2) Starting OL - LT/C
(2) Top 2 TE's
(3) Top 3 RB's
(2) #3 and #4 WR

61% of the time, the Eagles blitzed RW in their last match up earlier on the year resulting in 6 sacks... Without our LT, Duane Brown today and inexperience/stamina (Lynch) at RB, I expect him to blitz more... I expect the Hawks to struggle on offense today... This season, our offense goes as RW goes... If Philly makes RW's day rough, Hawks will have to score at least 24 pts to win this one... I feel they can hold Philly to 24 or less...

Eagles have been beasts at home against the run allowing 77 ypg on the ground so without the Hawks top 3 RB's, this could be ugly...

But on the other hand, the last time RW faced the top ranked rush defense this year, he threw 5 TD's... ... Who knows which RW will show up today...

Tight end Zach Ertz (ribs/back) has been cleared to play for today's Wild Card game against the Seattle Seahawks according to NFL Network's Mike Garfaolo. Good for Wentz and Eagles.

Watson got his first playoff win. Tannehill got his first playoff win. Looking like Cousins might also get his first. Carson can make it 4-4 in first career playoff wins tonight for the weekend should the Eagles pull of the upset.

I think Seattle is just too banged up to make it count today. I think the Eagles have a couple injuries but nowhere near what Seattle is battling. That stupid Arizona game really fucked us up.

Eagles declared WR Nelson Agholor (knee), RT Lane Johnson (ankle), G Sua Opeta, QB Nate Sudfeld, DE Shareef Miller, LB Genard Avery and RB Elijah Holyfield inactive for their Wild Card matchup against the Seahawks.
The good news is that Zach Ertz (ribs, back) will play through the pain and suit up. The Eagles are presently one-point favorites despite opening up as one-point underdogs.

Seahawks RG Mike Iupati (neck) is out for the team's Wild Card matchup against the Eagles.
The good news is Iupati will reportedly be available in the Divisional Round if Seattle manages to advance. The rest of the Seahawks' inactives are: WR Malik Turner (concussion), WR Jaron Brown (knee), DE L.J. Collier, LT Duane Brown (biceps, knee), DT Bryan Mone and LB Mychal Kendricks (knee). Both DE Jadeveon Clowney (core) and S Quandre Diggs (ankle) are good to go.
