I should have just called this thread about all preseason games.

How about Ryan Mallett?? 12/19 164 yards and 1 TD against what I'm guessing was 2nd or 3rd string.

Kevin Kolb connected for a long pass to Fitzgerald, but still finished 4/7 68 yards... but that is also 60 yards receiving by Fitz. So, I know some people think Kolb could have been the answer here, but I think that shows that without Fitz, Kolb isn't anything special.

X-Rays negative on SEA LT Russell Okung, who left game with what appeared to be an ankle injury. Hope his injury luck turns this season

That was an update from a while ago and I haven't seen anything new since as far as optimism/pessimism goes.

Clayton just tweeted that word from their locker room is a high ankle sprain. That is what plagued him last year. He's got glass ankles.

Not too impressed with the Seahawks. Granted they were playing a against a good defense, but their WR's just couldn't get any separation or get open. Jackson didn't look any better than when he was with Minnesota. Whitehurst will be starting by mid-season. Pistol Pete's ra-ra schtick will slowly die and become annoying. Harbaugh is going to be thorn in his side for years to come (until Carroll gets canned that is).

If forgot about the new acquisition of Rice too- although I don't think it will make a huge difference with Jackson at the helm.
