Guess this is where we agree to disagree. I feel the Falcons are overrated, have a bunch of has beens on their team, and are led by a weak QB who fails to close out games. That was my stance when Seattle was putting up a 4-12 record so it has nothing to do with being butt hurt about someone ranking the Falcons higher. The Falcons runningback...
HOLD on a minute, did you really say BEST in the NFL? Oh come on... homerisms aside, that's just a dumb comment. I guess you'll be the 1 out of 12,932,211 drafting Steven Jackson #1 overall given the opportunity in FF this year. Congrats. Whatever. My brain just lexpolkdfjdfifdfkfkfjdafkljasdf.
I lived up in Seattle for a couple of years and definitely got to see that reading comprehension and education in general were very much thrown to the side so I guess it shouldn't surprise me that you did not understand my post. I said that they had the best "SET" of offensive weapons. That does not mean that each individual is the best at his position but as the whole group combined they could have the best unit in football. I would not draft Steven Jackson 1st overall out of all running backs just like I wouldn't take Matt Ryan, Roddy White/Julio Jones, or Gonzo first at their respective positions. I do however think that as a whole unit they are top notch.
Now as for your thoughts on Matt Ryan I guess we will just have to disagree at this point. The guy has 23 game-winning/4th quarter come backs to his name in 5 years of playing so I think he does just fine in leading his team to victory. If I had to critique the team for anything it would be the fact that especially last year they could build up big leads but struggled at times to close out games with the running game. That is a big reason they went and got Steven Jackson and at least from the looks of last nights game he should do just fine in that role.
