Yah it's kind of weird... I was telling DK up there, one time Randall Cobb had a kickoff rolling and it stopped about a foot from going out of bounds (live ball) and he put one foot out of bounds, picked it up, and they ruled the ball at the 40 due to kick out of bounds.

So I kind of figured it was going back to the 9ers here...

Metcalf still had possession at that moment and was in bounds, so the play goes on instead of the ball being declared out of bounds. Also, I think a defender can come back into the play even if he goes out of bounds, so I don't think there's any problem there.

After 8 movies from the main story line with only two quality ones I'm done. I liked solo. I liked whatever the fuck the other one was called as well. But that clip is just some played out shit you've seen in like a gazillion films.

Apparently that is the case. But it seems odd that a player can be out of bounds and have any effect on the ball carrier at all. Just a weird rule in my opinion.
