All joking aside, Harvin seems like an inflamed hemorrhoid that just won't stop flaring up.....
Talent vs. Cost = Gone in 60 seconds....:exploding:

Soooo UNNAMED sources say hes not black enough.

Soooo cause he:

-Works harder then everyone to overcome his height deficiency
- cause hes well spoken and dresses nicely
-cause he gives smart well thought answers when interviewed
-cause he is close with the coaching staff
-cause he visits the childrens hospital weekly

Those are things that black people dont or shouldnt do?

Wouldn't be surprised if the main source was from Harvin's camp, and was greatly exaggerated. Freeman's already started backtracking saying it's a small minority" of players.

Generally, I assume anything from BR or PFT is basically crap begging for clicks.

The 49ers start the season off struggling a bit and out come stories of players not liking Harbaugh and the team is turning on him and a big mess, now the seahawks are struggling a bit so the media jumps on them with the harvin issue and Russell not being black enough for his teammates. SMDH the media is a joke with these unnamed sources articles.

Losing Harvin and Tate sucks but hearing about all the fights Harvin had, this could be addition by subtraction. Either way its hard to see them make the playoffs right now.

Just saw this on CBS SPORTS

“Two sources — one inside the team, one outside of the underachieving 3-3 Seahawks — tell me that much of what was written in Mike Freeman's Bleacher Report column is true,” Mayne said, via PFT. “(Freeman) wrote of turmoil involving since-traded Percy Harvin and the quarterback Russell Wilson that led to a more widespread internal battle pitting those for Russell Wilson and those against.

"And Freeman surmised on his own an issue among some teammates regarding Wilson that quote, 'he isn't black enough.' A certain expected behavior based on color, apparently. One of the sources told me, quote, I don't know how he got all that stuff, but it's pretty much true. We do have a divide. We're working on it. Thursday that notion was not presented to Wilson, but over and again, questions came about Harvin's departure.”

Much ado over nothing. Now that Harvin is gone, I would bet cash this fades away and isn't brought up in the future. Being "black enough" really isn't important, winning is important. If the Seahawks don't win their will be plenty of critism, but no one will bring up Wilson not being "black enough", it will be about how players perform on the field. Everyone is fair game in that regard.

We won't know how true this is until the offseason IMO. Usually when player(s) leave a team they may confirm if certain things were true or not. I don't think a player would ever come out and say the stupid black enough nonsense but if the locker room divide is true, it will come out in the offseason by a Seahawk from this year who is no longer on the team next year

The same thing happened to Mcnabb with TO. The locker room was divided with those who supported TO and those who supported Mcnabb. Just like Russell , Mcnabb was accused of being an uncle tom and not using his access to the front office and coaches for the betterment of other players. For those of you question BR, thats understandable but the author is well respected by his peers and others. I tend to believe where theres smoke there is fire. This is going to make for an very interesting season and off-season for the Seahawks. CAN SEATTLE PUT OUT THE FIRE????

Went out tonight, ran into a guy named Jerry. He was African American, wore a polo shirt, khaki shorts, & even sandals with socks. I couldn't stop thinking about this thread while chatting with him. Times are changing, being "black enough" doesn't mean what it used to mean.

Also, seems like only the NFL where this becomes an issue. There are quite a few black players in the NHL that make Russell Wilson seem like Tupac, but no one ever asks if they're "black enough".

Freeman used to write columns for cbs sports, not sure if he still does. He always brings race into the picture.

Who is the blacker QB?

So far Cam is 3 points blacker than Russel.

Going by today's performance Wilson has decided 'fuck'm all'.
