49ers played better last week, but it's a home game for the Seahawks. Should be slug fest. No need for me to state who I think will win.

I guess it could end it a tie ( that would suck). I'm surprised you didn't predict a beat down for the Seahawks. I guess your not a fan of the 49ers either.

Hard to pick against Seattle at their place. I'm sure that SF looks to avenge the trouncing they suffered their last trip there. Obviously two good teams with an intense rivalry, so it should be a great game -- probably second best of the day, right behind the Manning Bowl, of course.

Even though it's at the Clink, I'm taking (cough cough) the Niners in a close one.

I'll go 27-24. Either way I'm pumped about the game. I think both games will be close and both will win one...even though I obviously don't want that.

I think Seahawks fans that think this will be a blowout like last year are in for a rude awakening. I did put VCash on Seattle winning but its purely based on homefield. This could go either way and until Seattle gets all of its players back, I think the Niners are more talented. But Seattle can take away Boldin. VD is going to have to lead the passing attack, imo.

Seattle wins. Better offense depth and its at CLink which could be the loudest of all time.

Hawks win because of Russel Okung's work on Justin Smith. That matchup is going to be a heavyweight fight all night long!

Just a gut feeling but going to take 49ers in this one. I know Seattle just never loses at home but they just looked very flat last week especially on the OL and well that just won't fly against San Fran. Throw in I just don't see Seattle getting to Kaep in this one so he has all day to throw.

Better running attack, maybe. I wouldn't say better offensive depth. Kaep won't be able to have the passing performance that he did against the Packers but I see him getting a few more yards running out of the read/option.

It's going to be a slugfest but I'm predicting a close victory for the Niners.

Representative bias.

He thinks the Seahawks have better offensive depth due to the fact that the 49ers are really slim at WR right now after Boldin, which is true. The 49ers are really going to need to move Boldin around because Sherman will have his side of the field shut down.

I see the 49ers really struggling to get anything going through the air, your best bet is on the ground. Which sucks for you because it's difficult to run the football when you're losing.

I love your avatar but I disagree with your outcome. Though we are a little handicapped at wr, we are still at an advantage compared to you guys. I'd love to have Crabs and Manningham at this juncture but we still have the advantage.

Kaep isn't blue anymore and won't play as poorly as you guys need in order to win. It's a Niners victory in my estation.

All trolling and jokes aside I think that the 49ers and Seahawks are very close in terms of talent, regardless of which team you think is better I believe that the talent difference is so close that something as big as home field advantage for the Seahawks tips the scales in their direction.

Even if you believe the 49ers are the better team, by all realistic measures you have to believe that the two teams are very close in terms of ability. Therefore I believe the series will be split between the 49ers and Seahawks, with each team winning a game at home. I don't believe there is any team in the NFL right now that you can say confidently can beat Seattle at home.

I say that also because I feel like home field advantage is such a huge deal for this team, and has been historically. This team plays a step faster at home for whatever reason, you can credit it to the fans or you can credit it to the comparison of having to play 3,000 miles away. All "12th man" propaganda aside, the Seahawks are a different team at home.

The last time the 49ers beat us in Seattle it was an extremely close game and Tarvaris Jackson was the Seahawks starting QB, it is safe to say the team is a lot better than it was then.
