That was a dumb move by McCarthy to decline the penalty - it would’ve backed the Seahawks up a lot and would’ve made 3rd down longer IMO.

I disagree with this. I believe you want to defend the least amount of plays you can. On 2nd and 19 you still have to defend 2 plays for the same distance as 3rd and 8... are you guys sure you're not basing your comment on the result?

I don’t think the Seahawks would’ve gotten 11 yards on second down, they probably would’ve played it conservatives on 2nd and 19.

But...it's a lot harder for the offense to make that down and distance twice in a row. This is a no brainer Moab, that was insane.

What normally would've happend to the Hawks is they would've dropped back to pass and Geno would've gotten sacked, thrown a pick out of panic or made a stupid decision and thrown the ball away without a receiver in the area while in the pocket resulting in an Intentional grounding call...
