Teams steal signs every game they can.. That goes on every year since the beginning of time... Those balls were still hit and runs still scored... And pitchers still threw strikes and defense still made the plays...

CHEATING would be like steroids, pitchers using vaseline, nail files/sandpaper on baseballs... batters using pine tar to far up the barrel, corked bats...

Houston literally had a program written (called code breaker) to decipher signs, while using video recorded from CF, that was relayed to their clubhouse, where they had a desk with a computer set up and then they relayed to the players what pitch was coming. Yet you don’t think that was cheating?!? A $5 million dollar fine and multiple 1st round picks lost says other wise.

Hell — they have quite a few players who have already come out and said — they’d rather the whole league was on steroids over letting hitters know what pitch is coming.

My favorite is, the most outspoken player in the league regards to cheating, Justin Verlander — won his only ring while.........his team cheated and he said absolutely nothing. What a hypocrite. (And this is coming from someone who would list Verlander as one of my all time favorite players, as I’m a Detroit fan)

It's just my opinion, but the Astros got away light with cheating. If MLB takes their World Series trophy away and penalize some of their players. Ban some of the cheating players for a year, make it tough on the Houston organization. In other words make the organization an example. Most of the players had to know they were cheating That World Series trophy was won by cheating. JMHO.

Simple answer: they can't and they won't. That World Series in 2017 doesn't count. The players on the team all knew it was going on, and are forever tainted. No Hall of Fame ever for any player from that team, including Carlos Beltran, Jose Altuve, George Springer, Justin Verlander- they're all forever tainted. Fans should continue to support the team and hope that they've reformed. But if they go to the games and look up at that World Series victory banner, they should know it's a total fraud.

Run support = wins, and overall team performance gave him a WS on his resume. If he wants to absolve himself of his sins while on the Astros, then disavow the team's actions.
