I would be very hard pressed to name another team in the NFL who could go 4-12 and still get 6 nationally televised games.

On paper, though I did let out an FBomb at playing at GB again. I don't mind playing them, but does it always have to be there?

Yep. No one wants to see the Texans.

And there will continue to be more Redskins posters on this board than their own teams board:pound:
Yeah but think about it this way. To be clear I'm not predicting we WILL be, but we easily could be undefeated going into that game.

But of course, why not?

Cowboys will play 3 games in 12 days for second time in 3 seasons

By Ryan Wilson | CBSSports.com

April 15, 2016 10:12 am ET

How bad was 2015 for the Cowboys? Owner and general manager Jerry Jones said days before the Broncos and Panthers met in Super Bowl 50 that "I scream in my pillow" at night because he so desperately wants to get back to the championship game. Instead, the Cowboys finished 4-12, their worst record since the team went 1-15 in 1989, Jones' first year as owner.

A quick glance at the 2016 schedule suggests that a return to winning football isn't far off, especially with the expectation that quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Dez Bryantwill be healthy. Of course, making bold predictions in April has little basis in reality; a lot will change in the next five months, and those cream puffs currently on the schedule could turn out to be playoff teams.

Whatever happens, this much is certain: The Cowboys face a tough stretch starting with Week 11's matchup against the Ravens, followed four days later by a division game against the rival Redskins on Thanksgiving, and culminating seven days after that in Minnesota.

So, yes, there's an obvious conspiracy by the league to stick it to the already down-and-out Cowboys ... except that they faced the same three-games-in-12-days scheduling quirk in 2014.

That season, Romo and Bryant were healthy and the Cowboys went 2-1 in matchups against the Giants (31-28 win), Eagles (33-10 loss) and Bears (41-28 win), finished the regular season with a 12-4 record and even managed to win a playoff game.

The one big difference between 2014 and 2016: Two seasons ago, the Cowboys had their bye week prior to beginning the three-game stretch; this time around, their bye week comes a month before, in Week 7.

Either way, expect this to be a talking point for media and fans, though the players will likely repeat what they said the first time around (and say just about every other week too): They're taking it one game at a time.

“It's really about this week,” Romo maintained in 2014, when asked about playing three times in less than two weeks. “Once that game is over, I'll set up a different plan and talk to trainers and coaches, and we'll go from there. But this week, it's not about thinking about next week at all. You've got to get yourself ready to play in this one game and against the Giants. This is a very important game, a big game for us."

The Cowboys' have a tough late-season schedule (again).

looks like an 8-8 team at best. 10 to 11 wins tops. the draft and romo,s play will be key. if the cowboys trade down then we are looking at 7 or 8 wins.
