Because the performers they select are jokes? Every single time?

I have seen far more than I would like just by walking through the room and never once has there been anything remotely appealing.

Maybe the could play a salsa version of frosty the snow man, that would be interesting.

Worst weather in NY and surrounding areas is usually in January, average temperature in February is around 40/27 F, so maybe it will be perfect weather for football, hovering around freezing with some snow, so weather could be a positive factor, nice and chilly which is better than warm and sweaty. Time will tell.

I'll gladly enjoy it in my cousins warm house while people freeze their ass off.

You must have missed Prince's performance during halftime of the Colts vs Bears Superbowl. I agree with you for the most part, but Prince was outstanding. Most would have tried to cancel in the rainstorm he played in.

Yeah, me too. I'll be watching within the confines of a comfortable hotel bar in Vegas with a bunch of friends. Let the players, coaches, etc. worry about the weather, we fans are entitled to watch the game wherever we want and enjoy it.

Just for the record it is 49 and sunny here in the NYC. And who cares if it's cold? Football is a cold weather sport. As long it is not a blizzard it will be fine

Agree, a really nasty, sleet-filled blizzard would be messy. A snow game, like the Lions game @ Philly this year. would be cool. That was just piles of snow and fun to watch.

No, but I have never watched a halftime show and don't plan on starting. They all blow.

SB 38 I was buying beer at halftime.

When I got back to my seat the guy next to me asked if I "saw what happened" I asked if I missed something. He said Janet Jackson showed her boob. I responded: "so I didn't miss anything?"

There you have it, that would average out to about 40 in a two year period. Hard to imagine a raging blizzard in NJ in February but you never know.

Yep it may be cold and windy with the temperature dropping but hard to imagine a blizzard.
