The cowboys are funny.
I'm glad Dak is their quarterback.

It's possible but the FO is paying good money for Barkley so I can kind of see Hurts losing some of those runs. Of course play action on straight drop backs or bootlegs will always be there for Hurts to run one in but I think we'll get a big dose of Barkley inside the 5yd line and hope the dude can stay healthy. It’s not about carries. It’s about touches. Barkley is not likely to lose touches to Hurts. He is likely to lose touches though because his team isn’t dog shit anymore. He is actually surrounded by weapons in AJ, Smith, and Goedert. He will likely lose TDs though because of Hurts effectiveness as a runner inside the 5 yard line.
Hurts is not “taking away carries from Barkley”. You’re bringing an old school dated understanding of football to this discussion.
He's an upgrade over Gainwell, Shipley is an unknown and whatever crap rounds out the RB depth chart. The ultimate question is for what they paid, how many games will they get out of him? Hopefully all 17 plus postseason if they get in.I don't see Barkley as a special RB any more. He's a workhorse, but that's it. I don't see him as an upgrade for the Eagles.
I hate it,but Philly will by far.Last year Philadelphia Eagles RB's ran the ball 349 times for 1532 yards.
Last year Dallas Cowboy RB's ran the ball 370 times for 1425 yards.
One team upgraded in the offseason. One team downgraded.
Who is going to have the better running game in 2024???
